The Welsh Government and Heathrow Airport Ltd (HAL) invites you to apply* for the first Welsh Business Summit that will connect Wales based businesses ‘face to face’ with supply chain opportunities from one of the World’s busiest airports. The Summit will provide new growth opportunities locally, nationally and internationally.
During the event you will have the opportunity for one to one meetings with supply chain businesses and procurement managers, giving your business the chance to win supply chain contracts within the operation at Heathrow and potentially its expansion plans.
In 2014/15 the Airport spent more than £1.3bn on procurement of which only 0.2% was spent within Wales, a figure which we know we can increase. HAL are specifically looking for dynamic, innovative businesses that have the capability and capacity to win and maintain ongoing contracts in Construction, Facilities Management, ICT, Food and Drink, Logistics, Manufacturing and Fabrication, Finance, Consulting Engineers and all office activities.
The event will provide excellent networking opportunities, you will be able to meet with various organisations to gather information and learn about potential business support within Wales.
The event takes place on Wednesday 5 July 2017 from 9:30am to 4:00 pm at the Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff.
