Helo Blod wants to help everyone, but there are a few limitations to what we can do. Helo Blod can’t:
Provide any service to organisations or individuals (1) whose activities in our opinion could bring the Welsh Government into disrepute including but not limited to (i) party political purposes, (ii) the promotion of particular secular, religious or political views; (iii) gambling, (iv) pornography, (v) offering sexual services or (vi) any kind of illegal activities (2) who are obliged to comply with Welsh language legislation (including but not limited to the Welsh Language Standards under the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 or language schemes under the Welsh Language Act 1993) (3) who in our opinion may resell it or misrepresent it as their own or (4) who are already recipients of grant funding that specifically requires the grant funding to be used for translation of materials. In addition we can’t process any commercially sensitive information or homework assignments.
We reserve the right to refuse any request that in our opinion may be detrimental to Welsh Government policies including but not limited to any new Welsh Government policies that may be announced.
We aim to provide you with your translation/text check within 5 working days of receipt of your request but please note that this timescale may vary.
