Recognised as a badge of excellence, Great Taste Awards are actively sought after by food enthusiasts and retailers alike. These awards, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, prioritise taste above all else. Every product is subjected to blind tasting by a panel of judges, ensuring impartiality and transparency in the evaluation process.

The remarkable recognition of these products demonstrates their exceptional quality and flavour, representing the pinnacle of culinary achievement.

John Farrand, managing director at the Guild of Fine Food, extends heartfelt congratulations to the Welsh producers who have been honoured with Great Taste stars in 2023. He states, "Every year, we welcome new and established producers making fantastic products around the world, and this year has been no exception. The breadth and quality of food and drink have been outstanding, and we wish everyone who entered huge success and hope they find the feedback from our expert judging panel beneficial as they continue in their onward journey."

These Great Taste award-winners can now proudly display the iconic black and gold Great Taste logo as a symbol of their outstanding quality. The awards denote 1-star, 2-star, or 3-star ratings and their recognition in the year 2023.

The excitement of Great Taste 2023 doesn't end here. All 3-star-winning products are further assessed to determine the Golden Fork trophy winners and the 2023 Supreme Champion. These prestigious titles will be unveiled at the Great Taste Golden Fork Ceremony on Monday, September 11, 2023, at the Battersea Arts Centre (trade event only).
