Tony Davies

Tony has extensive experience in electronic commerce, having served as BT Professor of Electronic Commerce and Electronic Data Interchange and Head of the United Kingdom Delegation at the United Nations Centre for Electronic Business. He has also served two terms as Chair of the OFCOM Welsh Advisory Committee.

He has been involved in the Superfast Broadband Business Exploitation Programme since the initial pathfinder project phase and assisted the Welsh Government in establishing the Advisory Group. Tony has been its Chair from the start and is regularly asked to comment on and speak about the benefits of broadband and the positive impact it will have on the economy.
