A feasibility study to test the need and financial viability of creating a new business: to gauge the availability of local people with skills and an interest in joining a co-operative who are keen to work but do not have the financial resources to market themselves and lack the training needed around safeguarding etc.;
Identify the needs and challenges of vulnerable and elderly people within the locality, the cost of providing the service, how it will be managed and accessed for both service user and co-operative member. The study will also research potential competition, duplication and how it could work to complement existing businesses to enhance and improve services for vulnerable and elderly people.
