The project follows on from earlier work by Severn Wye energy and the University of South Wales, which established the parameters of the Penhesgyn site and the possible opportunities. The security and cost of feedstocks requires further research as does the fine details of capital and revenue costs. This additional work will substantiate the validity of the two recommendations in the study in detail. Finally the study needs to make recommendations on possible sources of funding for the implementation of the proposal.
