Wales Clean Seas Partnership
Wales Clean Seas Partnership is taking a leading role in tackling marine litter.
The Partnership is a multi-stakeholder group. It is proud to be part of the United Nations Clean Seas Campaign. Partners co-ordinate action across communities, business and the public sector.
The work of the Partnership is part of our national contribution toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goal 14:
“to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources which is transforming habits, practices, standards and policies around the globe to reduce marine litter and the harm it causes.”
The Partnership delivers the Marine Litter Action Plan (MLAP) for Wales
Tackling marine litter is a global challenge. We believe that Wales is small enough to make it happen, yet big enough to make a difference.
