The project will increase throughput capacity of cattle at the abattoir from 300/wk to 500/wk and provide offal processing and packing facilities to add value.
The construction of a second holding chiller will increase throughput capacity and allow the plant to slaughter and market prime cattle as well.
The project will construct red and green offal processing and packing facilities will enable the business to add value to this element which is currently lost due to lack of these processing facilities.
