The plant is quite old and in need of upgrading. This project will be a major investment in the premise to, improve animal welfare, add to and improve the processing facilities and improve its viability for the future.
Please note that, since the original expression of interest was submitted and approved, an opportunity has arisen to locate the project, or part of it at a new site near Monmouth. The feasibility of this is being investigated and, if viable, the applicant would like to request that the project is revised accordingly.
