Anglesey Show Energy Event

The detail of the event is as follows: We will contract a trusted provider in the Energy field, Severn Wye Energy to supply energy professionals at the event to support Menter Mon staff and to provide activities that will engage with the public. They will work with Menter Mon staff at the Anglesey Agricultural Show to staff the Menter Mon marquee over the two day event. They will provide interactive exhibits for show visitors to enjoy, providing energy efficiency and tariff switching advice, whilst telling them about the work Menter Mon has delivered. The aim will be to develop peoples interest in future LEADER Projects. They will deliver the following services over the event: 

• Tariff switching using Severn Wyes online energy switching tool 
• Demonstration of low cost energy saving techniques for the home and business 
• Clean Drive simulator 
• Pedal bike phone charging Severn Wye will provide 2 bilingual staff for the duration of the event and operate the above exhibits. They will also work with Menter Mon staff to promote existing projects and generate interest in participating in future projects. Severn Wye staff will set up and test the exhibits the day before the festival (subject to access to marquee). They will also provide a bilingual pull up banner to promote the services on offer. Both staff will be trained in energy advice and will be able to guide visitors through switching energy tariffs and the benefits of low cost energy saving techniques. In addition, Severn Wyes energy advisors will explain simple and low cost methods that can be used around the home to reduce your energy and hot water consumption and keep your home warmer, saving money at the same time. Demonstrations could include radiator foil, LED lights, Shower heads and tap valves, draft proofing and save-flush-toilet bags. Menter Mon staff will promote the current energy projects under the LEADER theme and engage with the public to signpost existing projects and to identify new projects.
