This project aims to improve mental wellbeing and mental health awareness for people living in rural communities. It aims to do this by conducting carers training, self-advocacy workshops, body and mind groups, dementia friend sessions and reading groups. The project will have a dedicated staff member who will co-ordinate these activities within the most rural areas of the county which has an ageing population with associated isolation and loneliness factors.
