"The project will undertake the following:
- Thinning of the Glanmynys Farm and Llwynybrain woodlands extending to 94 Hectares.
- Production of Fuel for the Estate and Farm bio-mass burner.
- Raw material for sale into local markets.
The money will be spent on:
- AMR HPF 28 tons Splitter or equivalent
- 5.5 ton Forestry Winch
- Oniar 7 ton Forestry trailer.
The project will achieve:
- Improve quality of the Farm and Estate woodlands
- Value adding to Estate timber
- Secure employment – Glanmynys Farm staff
- sale into local markets.
