Glantawe Outdoor Education Academy

The aims of our overall project are simple; it is to empower people to lead more successful and fulfilling lives than they may have without our intervention. We are accomplishing this is through outdoor education learning activities within our 25 acre park using a team of practitioners and voluntary workers.

These activities will be learnerled and meet individual needs and interests We are indiscriminate in who we will reach and exclude no-one from our projects this particular project sector will reach young people who are at risk, or who are potentially at risk of, disengagement from mainstream education arguably significantly reducing their future employment prospects, health and future well-being. We are an Agored Cymru approved centre and are able to embed a range of national qualifications into our activities from level 1 through to Level 3 and are in discussions with Agored Cymru to include Level 4 qualifications in 3 4 years in order to provide pathways to higher education through outdoor education.
