Pathways to Farming

The Pathways to Farming Project aims to create new innovative markets for locally produced food in Powys. It will coordinate a network to support more people to access land for production, provide training and qualifications and develop new alternative market opportunities for this produce. This project will provide a 5-step pathway for participants and new entrants to the local food sector to become more engaged and leave the pathway as a new local food producer. It will use the LEADER principles to develop an innovative and networked local food supply chain by offering support at all stages of the process and delivering new market opportunities for all local food producers through a collaborative process.
