Pontyclerc B & B

To create a new bed and breakfast facility at an adjoining property to the owner’s home, which was once a hub for the local colliery at Penybanc, providing milk to the miners. The new facility will be managed by the owners daughter Fay and will offer 4 serviced bedrooms at a 4/5 start quality.

The rooms will be named after local rivers with the design themed along local rivers, mines, castles and farming practices.

The furniture throughout will be historic (already owned) and reflect the beauty of Welsh furniture making with local fabrics used in some rooms.

Breakfast will all be sourced locally, using local butchers and bakers with their own free range eggs, honey as well as homemade cakes and bread. They will use the local coffee roaster and provide local toiletries in the rooms.
