See it Through our Eyes

To create, through a series of community engagement activities and skills building workshops a community scale exhibition that celebrates what is important and positive about a local community. The exhibition will create a series of works that will be photographed and printed on 3m by 3m exterior canvases to be displayed throughout a host community to challenge entrenched perspectives and opinions of the Upper Rhymney Valley. The project will showcase the series of works in an open exhibition and community celebration around food and art with the community artists at its heart. The exhibition will then be transfered from a single exhibition site to disparate locations within the community to encourage residents and visitors to travel the trail of art throughout the community to build a sense of what inspired the exhibition from people to place.
