The intention is to pilot a Visitor Giving scheme in Gwynedd where visitors are invited to contribute a small amount in addition to their bill at attractions, restaurants or accommodation. Nurture Lakeland were commissioned in 2013 to prepare a feasibility study for Gwynedd Council on setting up a visitor giving scheme in Gwynedd. The outcome of the study was a belief that there was potential for a scheme in Gwynedd and that it could begin as a pilot scheme on a small scale before extending.
