The aim of the project will be to trial a project within the county which would see the use of one 7kw twin-fast charging point installed in 2 rural market towns Carmarthen and Newcastle Emlyn- and record and analyse the usage over 12 months.
It is hoped that this project will complete a missing link with regards to EV charging infrastructure within Carmarthenshire. Not only will this be of benefit for the EV driver community living in the country but also by visitors who will be more inclined to visit the towns as they are able to charge their vehicles thus increasing footfall and spend within.
