Strengthening and Marketing the Local Produce Markets

The project aims to test and prove the appropriateness of increasing the networking and route to market opportunities for new entrants and new entrants to the area is a way to strengthen the local market message. Developing the market management capacity and focusing efforts on identifying new ways to bring more choice to consumers has worked in other areas. The project aims to re-look at the offering of the markets of Gwynedd and Anglesey through strengthening and piloting a focused drive, uniformly and collectively, to promote local produce values.

Following the hot stall idea used in Cork Market the pilot will -
  • Valuable market trading experience
  • Connections within the Sector
  • Mentoring
  • Opportunity to trial product for development
