The project will see the development, promotion and interpretation of a heritage route from Bute Town, Rhymney into the Brecon Beacons following as closely as possible the original route of the Halls Tramroad and linking with the Bryn Ore Tramroad route. This route will bring a much needed promoted link joining the counties of Caerphilly and Blaenau Gwent and in to the Breacon Beacons National Park. A key objective is to create interpretation that will encourage the community and visitors to use and enjoy the trails and to give them a better understanding of the cultural and industrial heritage of the area. The characteristics of the project will add value to the environment and encourage residents and visitors to explore the area.
