Wellbeing of Future Generations in Dinas Cross Pilot

This project would be a pilot project in a small community, using innovative approaches to explore the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act (2017) and the Social Services and Wellbeing Act (2014). The Well-being of Future Generations Act requires a different approach to working. It provides a shared vision for public services in Wales for the future. Community Councils are expected to consider how they can increasingly work with other partners and local citizens to contribute to the well-being of their area. For some community councils this method of working will be very different and could indeed be quite challenging, this project could support Dinas Community Council during this transition time to identify their requirements to meet the needs of the WFG Act.
