OB3, in association with the BRO Partnership has been commissioned by the Welsh Government to undertake a long-term evaluation of the Sustainable Management Scheme (SMS).

The Sustainable Management Scheme will continue to provide valuable lessons and opportunities to inform Welsh Government for the final design of the Sustainable farming Scheme (SFS) collaborative elements and inform the delivery of transitional collaborative landscape scale schemes.

A key element of the evaluation is to gain the views of all applicants and funded projects and our final project survey has just opened.

As part of this final stage of the evaluation we wish to gather feedback from funded projects about the benefits, impacts and difference made by your project and the barriers and enablers to delivery. Your engagement and feedback is vital and will help support us to prove collaborative action has a place in tackling the biodiversity and climate emergencies. From this we want to continue to support collaborative working at landscape scale to deliver for our big challenges.

A link to the survey has been sent directly to project leads and we ask that you cascade the survey link to relevant project partners, beneficiaries and key people involved in your SMS project in order that we capture as many views as possible.  Your feedback is very valuable to us.
We offer our appreciation in advance for your time and we hope for a comprehensive response from stakeholders and beneficiaries to help inform us for future programmes and schemes.

All survey responses will go directly to our evaluators who are independent of Welsh Government. A privacy notice is embedded within the survey and informs you how your data will be used.
