Contemporary Food Craft Feasibility Study

The project involves the production of a feasibility study to identify specific skills gaps within the Food and Drinks Sector. These sectors contribute significantly to the Welsh economy and employ around 22,000 people across the region.

The project will aim to consult with the sector, to identify possible skills deficits, which will help support the retention of talented individuals, and increase opportunities for economic and supply chain growth.

The project activities will include:

•    Evaluation of current market status 
•    Consultation with employers to identify skills gap and need
•    Development of new product
•    Final report and outline of new course content (Level 3 or higher)
•    Possible progression opportunities
