Expression of Interest - Window to open on 1st February

Measure 4.1 

The focus of this expression of interest (EOI) window will be nutrient management and storage.  If selected, you will need to demonstrate in your full application how the investment will assist you to achieve, or work towards compliance with The Water Resources (Control of Agricultural Pollution) (Wales) Regulations 2020.

Timescales

1.    This seventh SPG (https://gov.wales/sustainable-production-grant) Expression of Interest application window will be open from 1 February 2021.
2.    The closing date to submit an EOI is 12 March 2021.
3.    EOIs may be submitted at any time during the period the EOI window is open via your RPW Online account only.

Funds available

4.    This EOI window of the Sustainable Production Grant has a budget of £8 million.

Eligibility

5.    There is no requirement to attend a Sustainable Farming Event as part of the application process for SPG round 7.
6.    You are no longer ineligible to apply if you were successful in rounds 1, 2 and 3 of the SPG.
7.    A number of the eligible item descriptions and codes have been amended for this round.  If you are resubmitting an application or previously considered an application, before submitting an EOI for SPG7, please familiarise yourself with the new eligible items in the Annex A booklet of eligible items.
8.    A voluntary information webinar, organised through Farming Connect, will take place soon after the EOI window opens – details to be announced.
9.    The maximum grant award is £50,000.
10.    The minimum grant award is £12,000.
