Jim Loft

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (FCIPD) with 20+ years’ experience in mainstream HR for a Blue Chip manufacturing company, working across the UK and Europe.
I have been mentoring business leaders through Business Wales for over 5 years across a broad range of businesses. 

My expertise is focussed on strategic thinking and all aspects of how people can develop and perform within organisations (small or large). I have a particular interest in how business leaders can develop themselves alongside their businesses. I am British Psychological Society level B trained.

Additionally I am a voluntary online trainer with the CIPD for mentors throughout the UK as part of their Steps Ahead Mentoring programme. I act as an Ambassador for this programme in SW Wales working with Job Centre Plus to help young people find employment and to encourage them to develop skills.
I was formally chair of the SW Wales region of the CIPD and I also hold an honours degree in Chemistry.

I have found my skills in helping managers organise themselves and then focus on the important issues has regularly been key to success for my clients.
