Emma Lampka, CFIOSH
I have run my own Environmental, Health and Safety Consultancy since 2008. Providing services within Agriculture, Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, Ministry of Defence, Primary Care Trust, Electrical Engineering, Construction, Waste and Healthcare providers.
Providing EH&S Consultancy, Training, Business Continuity, Environmental, Project Safety and Auditing to 45001, 18001, 50001 & SA8000 Social Compliance standards.
I started my working life in Human Resources and moved into Health, Safety and Training. I have worked for large FMGC organisations in the UK, Ireland, France, the Netherlands and Belgium.
I have qualifications in HR, Counselling and Psychology, charity trustee along with my professional qualifications. I am one of the few female Chartered Fellows of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
I was the first female Chairman of Herefordshire Health and Safety Group which provided EH&S support for small businesses in the Herefordshire area including seminars to help them learn new skills for free.
I also established a Charity Service in North Wales for Blood Bikes Wales, providing free transportation for blood and blood products and breast milk for premature babies. Setting up the service and being the first female Chairman of a National Charity in Wales taught me many new skills and how the 3rd/Voluntary sector works.
My core strengths are supporting others, troubleshooting and being solutions focused through following goal setting, planning and monitoring progress. Sometimes that means asking questions to challenge our thinking, but the good thing is, it gets us thinking of other opportunities and other ways of doing things.
