Craig Meakin

Craig has worked within the electrical and construction industry for over 20 years, starting as an electrician via a 5-year apprentice scheme with British Steel in Newport. Where he specialised in the maintenance and installation of electrical systems. Spent time working at a Nuclear Power Station for a few years as a technician.

Craig moved into a period of teaching post 16-year-olds at a college within the facility of engineering,

Next step for Craig was into project management for several years overseeing all aspects of the installation for construction projects with a value of circa £10M in the South-West area in the UK.

After Craig’s time in construction project management he moved into manufacturing, his core area of expertise. Focussing on sales mainly in the UK to progress onto a full Director role, both for the UK and Export markets. 

Where he spent over 10 years developing Export markets across multiple continents, in country visits to establish best practice for continued growth. 

Craig has completed and passed several educational courses with his highest being a BSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is currently studying for an MBA level course at Warwick University in “Strategy and Innovation” that is to be completed September 2023 .

Craig has been married for over 15 years with 2 children and 3 small dogs.
