The Town Council are in the process of obtaining 5 assets, via asset transfer, from the Local Authority. The project will involve a feasibility study, to identify how the assets can be best utilised by the Town Council. They would specifically like the assets to assist with education and skills, supporting families and the elderly, business and employability development, and social engagement and wellbeing within their community. The project will involve significant community engagement from the outset, giving residents an opportunity to relay key community needs. The project will also follow the principle of utilising community capabilities, wherever possible.
