The project will gather a wide range of content from respected angling writers about the variety of angling on offer in Wales and publish this on a web site along with a mapping tool for users to find information about where and how to fish on the many rivers, lakes, canals, beaches and charter boats in Wales. This will also promote links with the Wales Way initiative by highlighting the many angling opportunities near to these routes.
Social media campaigns will then be carried out to promote the web site with videos of angling in Wales being filmed during the spring and summer of 2019. Anglers will also be provided with information about how to fish sustainably and responsibly by the Angling Trust.
All materials will be made available in both Cymraeg and English.
