Wrexham County Borough Tourism Itineraries

This pilot project will develop 12 itinerary packages for visiting tourist groups tailored for a range of demographic and subject interests.  It will test the demand for such tourism products and bring businesses together to work as partners for mutual benefit.

The project aims to achieve a joined-up tourism offer within the county by ensuring visitors and staff in hospitality businesses become more aware of what is available locally through the development of 12 key itineraries for visiting groups.  The project will enhance the skills of college and university students, by using their modules to help the development of these itineraries, especially those focused on young people / independent explorers; and create a sustainable distribution network amongst tourism partners to ensure widespread awareness and coverage for the itineraries so visitors can explore the heritage, natural and food & drink attractions within the rural wards.
