The Workshop saw 30 delegates take part in the virtual workshop on 2 October with excellent interaction from the audience.

The National Forest Programme was outlined for delegates, and some interesting comments and questions were raised.

A breakout session took place, where delegates were split into three groups to discuss National Forest Outcomes. Following the breakout session, feedback was given from each group, raising some interesting topics, queries and suggestions.

Key comments from the breakout feedback session included –

•    How do we ensure that the woodlands create the right habitat?
•    Will urban trees be a part of the National Forest?
•    The importance of having a variety of woodlands that are well designed.
•    The importance of integrating woodland management into education.

All questions and comments from the event will be collated and used going forward.
