The ninth window of Glastir Woodland Restoration opens on 18th May 2021, with a budget of £1 million. This Expression of Interest is available to successful applicants who will be able to complete all capital works and planting by 31 March 2023.

Glastir Woodland Restoration provides capital works for restocking, fencing and associated operations on sites where there is larch and up to 50% non-larch species

The Welsh Government offer financial support through Glastir Woodland Restoration to restock woodlands, which are under threat from or have been affected by Phytophthora ramorum. Applicants for Glastir Woodland Restoration are selected on the basis of having been issued with a Statutory Plant Health Notice (SPHN) or where larch species are included on the felling licence.
The Glastir Woodland restoration expression of interest closes at midnight on 25th June 2021.
