Wales Rural Network Support Unit was set up in accordance with European Regulations for the delivery of The Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 (RDP).
The unit comprises six members and the key task of the unit is to support the RDP by promoting all funding opportunities by publicising Expression of Interest Windows. The unit carries out many additional activities and key to its work is Stakeholder Engagement.
European Regulations require an Evaluation of the Network to be undertaken and The Support Network are pleased to announce the appointment of Miller Research.
Miller Research will be undertaking the evaluation through a number of channels and platforms over a 12 week period culminating with a final report on 23 November. The report will include the feedback of stakeholders, partners and beneficiaries, helping the unit to understand what was done well, what could have been improved and what, if any, gaps there have been in the programme of activities for current RDP.
The report will also include possible recommendations that could help shape the future of Rural Development.
