Anita Thomas

I have recently retired from The Prince’s Trust Cymru where I worked for 13 years as an Enterprise Manager supporting young people with a business idea to set up their own business. I was also Volunteering & Secondments Manager training volunteers to mentor these young people.

 Before taking up a secondment with the Trust I worked for 24 years for Barclays Bank where my many roles included Performance Coaching and Branch Manager.

 I have qualifications in counselling, coaching and NVQ assessment and I have been a Magistrate for the last 11 years sitting on the Gwent bench.

 I am reliant, flexible, resilient and determined and can demonstrate patience and empathy when the need arises. My passion is around improving and developing people and helping to bring out the best in them and see them grow in confidence.

 I would like to use the skills I have learnt to support people setting up in business and help make them successful.
