Katherine Bean

I have a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I have worked extensively in the UK and abroad in a variety of business and technical roles. This includes companies such as IBM.

I am an experienced project manager, product manager, business leader, software developer, software architect, chip designer, AI researcher, marketer and entrepreneur. I have been the Chair of the Conwy branch of the FSB, the Institution of Engineering and Technology in north Wales and various other groups. I have been on the National Council of the IET. I am currently on the regional (NW) committee and on the north Wales committee of the IET.

I am a qualified post 16 teacher and have taught engineering and business at all levels from HNC to masters. This includes teaching on a masters of business administration MBA course.

In my current role, I take all of my experience in business, marketing, technology, Internet Technologies, management and have combined them into a comprehensive view of the world. This enables my clients to have a single source of expertise and insight into their business and the business environment in general.

At Dvana, my goal is to help my clients build better businesses. I bring this exact same attitude to the mentoring programme.

It is my intention, to bring this wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to help others. This has the benefit of broadening my experience, which ties in directly with my business and core competencies.

I am a good communicator and have a talent for asking just the right question at just the right time. This has been proven time and again as I have built the bridges between technical and business divisions within organisations.
