Welsh Government would like to invite your company to join its Export market visit to San Diego, USA. This visit coincides with Bio International Convention 2026 (in San Diego from 22-25 June 2026).

With low regulatory barriers, minimal language barriers and access to the global supply chain, it offers huge potential for Welsh exporters.

With its warm, year-round climate, 50 miles of sun-soaked coastline and world-famous attractions, San Diego is a top tourist destination. But this large Southern California metropolis with a laid-back vibe is also home to cutting-edge businesses in life sciences, genomics, biotechnology, telecommunications, Smart City technology, software, electronics and other major innovative Industries.

The Cost
The Welsh Government is supporting* companies to take part in this export market visit.
The cost is £2,250. This includes:
• Return flights
• In-market transfers (if travelling with the core group_
• 6 night’s accommodation with breakfast (Saturday – Friday)
• Attendance at in-market events
• Inclusion in any marketing material
This offer is available for one representative per company.

Arrangement of Meetings Support
If you would like to maximise your time at the event, we can offer support for a programme of 3-4 meetings to be arranged for you by one of our business consultants. This service is available from £500.
Please note, if you would like this support, then you must submit your application 10 weeks before the export market visit or exhibition departs. If your application is submitted after 10 April 2026 then we cannot guarantee that there is there is sufficient time to effectively provide this additional support.
