Welsh Government would like to invite your company to participate in its export market visit to Madrid, Spain. This visit coincides with WindEurope 2026.
Why Spain?
Madrid is the capital and largest city in Spain, serving as the country’s main financial and business centre. It hosts headquarters of major Spanish and international companies, making it a prime location for exporting opportunities.
Madrid’s strategic position and Spain’s historical ties provide access not only to the EU market but also to Latin America, where Spanish companies often act as intermediaries.
Spain is located in Southwestern Europe, sharing borders with France and Portugal, and is one of the largest consumer markets in the EU. With a population of 46.4 million, it offers a substantial consumer base for UK exporters.
Spain is among the UK’s top 10 trading partners, creating strong bilateral trade opportunities. There is consistent demand for UK goods and services, making Spain an attractive market for businesses looking to expand internationally.
