This Welsh Government supported event offers an exciting opportunity for businesses of all sizes to increase their export activity by connecting with businesses in the Life Sciences sector from around the world.

The Biotechnology Innovation Organisation (BIO) represents more than 1,100 biotechnology
companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centres and related organisations across the United States and in more than 30 other nations.
Last year, BIO 2025 (Boston) delivered four days of inspiring programming and welcomed attendees from 20,559+ companies across 73 countries, with a remarkable 57,044 partnering meetings taking place.

The Cost
The Welsh Government is supporting* companies to take part in BIO International Convention. For this event, you can attend either as an exhibitor or as a visitor:
Exhibitor
The cost is £5,700 which includes:
• Space on the Wales stand
• Return flights
• In-market transfers
• 6 night’s accommodation with breakfast (Saturday – Friday)
• Attendance at in-market events, including business networking events
• Inclusion in any marketing material
The offer is available to two representatives per company.
Visitor
The cost is £2,250. This includes:
• Return flights
• In-market transfers
• 6 night’s accommodation with breakfast (Saturday – Friday)
• Entrance to the trade show
• Inclusion in any marketing material
• Access to meeting space on the Wales stand
• Attendance at in-market events, including business networking events

Arrangement of meetings services
If you would like to maximise your time at the event, we can offer support for a programme of 3-4 meetings to be arranged for you by one of our business consultants. This service is available from £500.
Please note, if you would like this support, then you must submit your application 10 weeks before the export market visit or exhibition departs. If your application is submitted after 10 April 2026 then we cannot guarantee that there is there is sufficient time to effectively provide this additional support.
