Welsh Government would like to invite your company to participate in its virtual export market visit to India.

India’s dynamic Economy is home to many international and domestic companies, including TATA, Essel Group, Reliance Industries, Nissan, and Pfizer.
India offers good export opportunities for Welsh businesses in all priority sectors; high value manufacturing, tech, life science, consumer products, clean energy and food & drink.

The Cost
The Welsh Government is currently offering free introductory places on its virtual export market visit to Welsh based companies looking to export to India. This virtual visit includes:
- Virtual market briefing
- Arranging virtual meetings with up to 3-4 business contacts and decision makers in this market
- One-to-one support from in-market representation
- Inclusion in any digital marketing material
You Commitment
This virtual export market visit will take place over 6-8 weeks and the video calls can take place from 9 – 12 am. Please note that this will not be every day and you will be given notice of when the meetings will take place. Times and your availability will be confirmed at your one to one meeting.
The Welsh Government is investing in this mission, so whilst this is free for you to participate, we strongly recommend that you only apply if you can commit to the times for the meetings being arranged for you.
Eligibility check
- Are you a Wales based business?
- Are you already exporting or have the potential to export successfully?
- Does your product or service originate substantially from Wales (or add significant value to a product or service of non-Wales origin)?
- Does your business own the IP or brand that you are selling (or have the rights to do so)?
- Does your business have a clear ambition to grow through exporting on a regular and sustainable basis?
