Welsh Government would like to invite your company to participate in its export market visit to Boston, USA. This visit coincides with BIO International Convention.

The United States is the largest, most competitive and technologically advanced economy in the world. It is by the far the largest export market for products and services from Wales. With low regulatory barriers, minimal language barriers and access to the global supply chain, it offers huge potential for Welsh exporters.
Boston is considered one of the top places in which to do business in the United States. Major industries include finance, high-technology research and development, tourism, medicine, education, commercial fishing, food processing, printing and publishing, and government.

Cost
The Welsh Government is supporting* companies to take part in this export market visit.
The cost is £2,000*. This includes:
• Return flights
• In-market transfers
• 6 night’s accommodation with breakfast
• Attendance at in-market events
• Inclusion in any marketing material

Arrangement of Meetings Services
If you would like maximise your time at the event, we can offer support for a programme of 3-4 meetings to be arranged for you by one of our business consultants. This service is available from £500.
Please note, if you would like this support, then you must submit your application 12 weeks before the export market visit or exhibition departs.
If your application is submitted after 4 April 2025 then we cannot guarantee that there is there is sufficient time to effectively provide this additional support.
