COHES3ION aims to integrate a regional and sub-regional element into Smart Specialization Strategies (S3), so developing greater consistency across each partner region.
The intended outcomes of the project are:
- to increase the overall impact of each partner’s S3
- to improve the links between operational programmes in the RD&I environment and public and private sectors
- to promote a multi-level governance model
The project includes 10 partners from 8 European countries (Spain, Italy, Romania, Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Poland and Wales).
It will work to align innovation policies from a macro to a micro regional level, spreading prosperity across each partner’s territories.
