This year’s focus was given to exploring ‘fairness’ in context to Climate Change.

This year’s event examined the disproportionate impacts of climate change on different people, groups and places, and address how we can ensure that benefits associated with climate policies are distributed fairly across society.

Furthermore, the event sought to explain the connection of climate change to the cost-of-living crisis and the barriers that business regions and communities are facing.

Wales climate week programme also coincides with the Welsh Governments consultation on a new ‘Just Transition Framework’ to get people’s views on how to best reach Net Zero.
