Gerry Wilkinson

Since joining Boardroom Advisors Gerry has been involved with many technology start-up and scale -up companies both as an Advisors and in fund raising.  He has a particular interest in FinTech although his assignments have covered a diverse range of businesses.  In the last four years Gerry has been involved with cloud technology and its introduction into SME’s and Accounting practices. He was sales director for a fast-growing cloud integration company selling consulting and cloud ecosystems around the Xero accounting system.
Prior to joining Boardroom Advisors Gerry was the Managing Director of Cognitive Research.  He has also owned and run two hotels, one being a country house conference facility and the other a five star Inn. 
He was a partner in a successful City based financial software and consulting firm for over twelve years and created one of the world’s first Operational Risk solutions combining value at risk modelling techniques with traditional subjective methods. He raised $1m in an earn out deal worth $16m for his operational risk system solution, the earn out never reached term.
He has been a product manager of a City based credit & operational risk company, Raft International PLC.
