Karen Cherrett

Karen combines more than 20 years-experience of operational and managed service delivery for the public sector with robust customer insight and delivery experience to improve services whilst reducing cost. This is on top of 9 years as an operational police officer where she learnt the essentials of prioritisation, resource and risk management.

She has led the development and delivery of multi-service strategic partnerships (valued at £250-400 million), shared services and internal change programmes saving £10'sm, having established her first business in serviced offices for the MoD.  Her later consulting reputation is founded on challenging, pragmatic and engaging programme leadership having a strong track record in results-delivery and successful organisational transformation. All of which experience she now uses in her own areas of business.

She uses her professional skills as a sourcing and procurement lead and academic training in law to cut through the noise and structure facts for decision-making – often using negotiation skills to close deals and facilitate business relationships. She is an owner director of her own business and also a founding partner in a new business venture in Wales. Karen engages easily with strategic and operational challenges and demonstrates practical insight and solutions to the challenges of businesses today.
