Welsh Government would like to invite your company to participate in its export market visit to Tokyo, Japan. This trade mission will coincide Tokyo Game Show, 13-21 September 2026.

Japan is a diverse, high consumer spending market, offering good export opportunities for Welsh businesses.

Package and Costs
The Welsh Government is supporting* companies to take part in this export market visit. This offer is available to one representative per a company and the cost is £2,200 (your contribution). This includes:
• Return flights
• In-market transfers (if travelling both ways with the Group)
• 6 night’s accommodation with breakfast
• Attendance at in-market events
• Inclusion in any marketing material

• 14-19 September - Opportunity for companies to have their own meetings / pre-arranged meetings programme in Tokyo

Arrangement of Meetings service
If you would like maximise your time at the event, we can offer support for a programme of 3-4 meetings to be arranged for you by one of our business consultants. This service will be included in the costs above.
Please note, if you would like this support, then you must submit your application 10 weeks before the export market visit or exhibition departs. If your application is submitted after 4 July 2026 then we cannot guarantee that there is there is sufficient time to effectively provide this additional Support.
