Welsh Government would like to invite your company to participate in its export market visit to Wind Europe in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Why WindEurope?
WindEurope is one of Europe’s largest exhibitions and conferences focussed on both the onshore and offshore wind sector.
WindEurope has joined forces again with the city of Copenhagen and its Danish partners to deliver another wide-ranging industry gathering – Wind Europe’s Annual Event 2025 in Copenhagen.
Denmark is the birthplace of wind energy and the Danes are still breaking new wind power records right across the board. Denmark is the only country in Europe to source more than half of their electricity from wind – up to 55%. Wind Europe broke attendance records in 2023 with close to 16,000 participants and are expecting to confirm this trend in 2025
Why Attend?
We’re joining forces with other UK regions to create the UK pavillion, showcasing what makes Britain a global onshore and offshore wind leader.
Companies won’t have their individual space on the pavillion but, as a Welsh Mission Delegate, you will be listed in the WindEurope show catalogue, and you will have full use of the shared meeting area, making it easy to meet up with new and old clients.
By participating in this visit, you will benefit from:

The Cost
The Welsh Government is supporting* companies to take part in WindEurope.
The cost is £750* which includes:
• Return flights and in market transfers (if travel both way with the core group)
• 3 nights accommodation including breakfast (Monday –Thursday)
• 3 day visitor pass
• Online/catalogue entry
• Attendance at in-market events
• Inclusion in UK pavilion promotional brochure and Welsh Government Marketing
• Inclusion in any marketing material
• Use of UK pavilion Shared meeting space

Arrangement of Meetings Service
If you would like maximise your time at the event, we can offer support for a programme of 3-4 meetings to be arranged for you by one of our business consultants. This service is available from £500.
Please note, if you would like this support, then you must submit your application 10 weeks before the export market visit or exhibition departs.
If your application is submitted after 24 January 2025 then we cannot guarantee that there is there is sufficient time to effectively provide this additional support.
