The information you provided on the online form will only be used to arrange and confirm your travel. This information will be sent to our appointed Travel Agent who manage the travel arrangements. Subject to a successful application, the Welsh Government will offer your company (as per this application) a Minimum Financial Assistance (MFA) subsidy under the Subsidy Control Act (2022), subject to your agreement to, and compliance with, the terms and conditions set out below (relating to MFA and any other terms of the subsidy specified by the Welsh Government). The amount of MFA offered will be confirmed by email, post event. The MFA threshold is £315,000, cumulated over this and the previous two financial years, as specified in section 36(1) of the Subsidy Control Act (2022). This means you* must not have received more than £315,000 in MFA subsidies or comparable types of subsidies (see section 42(8) of the Subsidy Control Act) between 1 April (year beginning the calculation period) and this date. You are required to keep a written record of the amount of MFA you have received and the date/s when it was received. The written record must be kept for at least three years beginning with the date on which the MFA was given. This will enable you to respond to future requests from public authorities on how much MFA you have received and whether you have reached the cumulative threshold. * The MFA financial threshold applies at company group level.

It is important to recognise that the resources and effort which go into arranging these activities and the 'assistance' offered to participate companies are, in reality, a direct investment by the Welsh Government into Welsh companies. It is essential that the Welsh Government ensures that it invests wisely.

All participating companies need to demonstrate a clear commitment to maximise opportunities, either in terms of identifying and securing business, or in exploring market potential.
