I have been a qualified business mentor and coach for over 20 years, working with start-up businesses, and high-growth businesses of all sizes and sectors; I have helped with grants, funding and capital applications; carried out extensive reviews of their systems, processes and procedures to make sure they are fit for purpose and do not get in the way of performance. I am proud to have been recognised for my skills when I received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion. I currently train coaches and mentors through The Management Centre/Grwp Llandrillo Menai Professional Development.

Having worked for a Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE) 100 company for 24 years, including 17 years developing overseas markets in Europe, Central America and the Caribbean, my experience is broad-brush, including heading up a strategic business unit, research and developing new markets, finding opportunities to provide profitability and return on investment.

I am a commercially and customer-focused marketer and have nearly 20 years of experience in a variety of senior roles working across different markets, specialising in strategic planning and marketing, product and business development in both business to consumer and B2B, as well as delivering major commercial projects within the marketing function, including running the Communications Campaign introduction of the new £1 coin and managing the entire London 2012 Coin and Medals programme.

Results driven, self-motivated and resourceful managing director with a proven ability to develop and strengthen management teams to maximise company profitability and efficiency. Experienced leading and growing all sectors of a business to make it a dynamic and progressive organisation. Operating for 30+ years within the food & drinks industry in sales, marketing & business development roles across most trade sectors including grocery multiples, discounters, wholesale, foodservice, contract manufacturing and more. I have worked in the fitness sector for over 25 years working my way up from an instructor to a General Manager with some of the biggest chains in the UK.  I have run my own business for the past 15 years after setting it up from scratch.  I have put a lot of time into developing excellent customer care skills and incorporating these into the business.  This helps with sales and also with customer retention.   I also believe myself to be creative an innovative in and have been at the forefront of a number of new developments.

I have been self-employed since 2011. Before 2011 I was employed withing the Financial Services sector working for Barclays, Principality and Admiral. In all businesses I worked within the IT function where I fulfilled may roles from support to management and finally becoming a Senior Solutions Architect.

Last 20 years lived and worked in Europe, South Africa, South Asia and the Middle East MBA and Fellowship in Management from Cranfield University.
Last Role 4 years as CEO, fortune 500, Major Technology/Energy company in Middle East.
Previously six years as head of operations globally (COO) for industrial hardware/software business and 9 years as head of an international Management Consultancy focussed on technology and energy.

Dr Peter Bannister has held senior executive positions in multiple high-tech university spin-outs, has over 15 years' experience
translating novel imaging technologies from lab to market and is senior advisor to companies working in fields such as AI and
minimally-invasive surgery. He has successfully bid for over £4m in public sector grants and has been instrumental in raising
over £13m in venture capital funding across several start-up businesses.

I have spent the last 27 years developing my technical expertise and personal skills. Clients already engage with me on audit / accounts and taxation projects, as well as business development plans and mentoring.

In the last few years I have become more involved in assisting clients with their marketing and business development generally. I have always played an active role in my own business development and marketing.
