Manon is a specialist agricultural solicitor and advisor having qualified as a solicitor in May 2017 with experience in private client, dispute resolution, agricultural tenancy work (both AHA 1986 and ATA 1995) and joint ventures. She has successfully prepared several applications for succession for tenants under the AHA 1986, dealing with the ALT (Wales) as well as defended such applications on behalf of landlords. Manon is also very experienced in advising on joint ventures within the agricultural industry and she has assisted several farming businesses via the Farming Connect Mentro Scheme. An expert in succession planning to include consideration of the taxation position and available reliefs, together with options to mitigate such taxes and ensure continuation of agricultural businesses. Manon regularly deals with complicated businesses and advises them as to the most tax-efficient succession routes, but also understands the practical aspects of succession and the challenges which family businesses often bring and can provide practical advice in such scenarios. Manon undertook succession facilitation training with Siân Bushell in 2021 and is an associate of Siân Bushell’s.
