Charles Bowyer - AgriEPI
Charlie Bowyer comes from a family mixed sheep and beef farm in South Wales and graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture in 2015. Charlie has gained a wealth of understanding of the farming and agriculture sector; he worked in the biogas industry until 2020 whilst he continued to work on the family farm before moving into forage seed sales. Since 2022, Charlie has been part of the Agri-EPI Centre team as their Business Development Manager – Livestock & Aquaculture. As part of his responsibilities, he facilitates research and development projects, such as trialling new and innovative slurry handling methods, precision monitoring fish growth, or validating new remote cattle health monitoring.
Charlie is driven to raise awareness of how farmers can be more innovative, he believes the application and gathering of data will make a huge impact on the future of agri-tech to refine processes and come up with the next generation of innovations.
